Highly praised two-part TV movie adapted from the memoirs of Philip Caputo. In the mid-1960s, a Marine lieutenant (Brad Davis) dutifully goes into battle after battle in Vietnam. With the war escalating and the body count mounting, he begins to question his commitment to the cause.
