The Cold War has thawed in this action-thriller with a comic edge. The top tough-guy cop in Moscow (Arnold Schwarzenegger) chases a Soviet drug czar to Chicago and teams up with a Windy City wise-guy cop (James Belushi) who has a very relaxed approach to his work. While coping with their drastically different temperaments, the mismatched twin cops must break a number of hands and participate in many loud scenes of brutal violence before they nail their quarry. They become friends while they're at it. Fishburne plays Lieutenant Stobbs, one of Chicago's finest.
