Tough guy Piper, played by Fishburne, and computer hacker Dodge (Stephen Baldwin) are imprisoned convicts between whom no great love is lost. They are handcuffed together on a chain gang the day a riot breaks out, allowing them to escape. They clumsily head to Atlanta to find the money and a computer disk they need to save them from the Cuban mob and U.S. marshals.
