The Alley Foundation
For seven years, the Alley Foundation has published and distributed for free a fifty page environmental booklet for children, Cry Out. The Alley Foundation was founded by Kirstie Alley as a non-profit foundation for the environmental education of children. This booklet is largely agreed upon as the best environmental publication for children of its kind. It carries an introduction by Tom Cruise and full color illustrations and glossary. To date, hundreds of thousands of booklets have been distributed nationally to children, schools, Boy and Girl Scout troops, civic associations and the like. John Travolta is one of the founding Board of Advisors of the foundation which include Demi Moore, Tom Cruise, Doctor Allison Jolly, Vice President Gore and others.
