Director Quentin Tarantino's Oscar winner weaves together four tales of neo film noir. The most memorable is Travolta's portrayal of strung-out hit man Vincent Vega, who is forced to entertain his maneating, cocaine-sniffing mob boss' wife (Uma Thurman) one night. Thurman's character drags him to a dance contest and, eventually, tangoing back to her house. But while Vincent is in the bathroom, the lady finds his power stash of heroine and sniffs it, overdosing on the spot and leaving the hapless hit man struggling to revive her.
