The classic screen version of the hit Broadway musical about the trials of surviving high school in the 1950s stars Olivia Newton-John as Australian exchange student Sandy and Travolta as greaser Danny Zuko. After a summer romance, the two unknowingly end up together at Rydell High, where they are on opposite ends of the social ladder. Sandy is a "good girl" and Zuko is a black-leather greaser. They have one thing in common, though: they can both dance and sing.
