When the naked body of attractive but troubled Captain Elizabeth Campbell, the daughter of base commander "Fighting" Joe Campbell, is discovered murdered, CID investigator Paul Brenner, played by Travolta, soon finds himself following a twisted maze of dark deception, sexual deviance and a face-saving military code of silence. Ultimately, Brenner must choose between "going along" to protect his career or risking everything to get to the truth not only about the general's daughter but the general's army.
