In this thriller by noted action director John Woo, Travolta does a change of pace, playing super bad guy Major Vic Deakins, who purposely crashes a top secret plane in the desert in order to steal the nuclear bombs in an extortion scheme. Little does he know a young Air Force co-pilot and a park ranger are hot on his tail. Travolta's evil madman, bitter about having been passed over for promotion, is half the fun of the film.
